The villages along Eresfjorden maintain traditional Norwegian fishing practices, contributing to local food production and economic sustainability throughout the region.
Visitors can walk along the shoreline or take boat rides to explore the mountain landscape, particularly during warmer months. The surrounding area also offers access to hiking trails and natural viewpoints on the mountain slopes.
The surrounding mountains attract winter sports enthusiasts who find excellent conditions for ski touring and mountain descents in the area. The combination of coastal proximity and higher peaks makes this a special destination for those pursuing skiing.
