Vår Frue Church

Vår Frue Church is an Art Nouveau church in Porsgrunn featuring organic shapes worked into its overall design. The building displays detailed wooden carvings and stained glass windows distributed throughout its structure.

The church was completed in 1899 by architect Haldor Børve, who had established himself in Porsgrunn a decade earlier. Børve shaped the region's religious architecture by applying modern design principles to his works.
