Militærhospitalet

The Militärhospital is a stone building with multiple floors located in central Oslo, featuring regular rectangular windows and traditional Nordic design elements. Inside, original structural features were kept while the spaces were adapted for modern office use.

The building was founded in 1806 during the Napoleonic Wars as a military medical facility for the Norwegian armed forces. Later it was converted to serve a different purpose as office space.

The building reflects how military medical care became organized and specialized in Norway during the early 1800s. You can still sense this history walking through the spaces today.
