Port of Moss

The Port of Moss extends along 670 meters of coastline on the western side of Mossesundet, connecting directly to the Oslo Fjord waterway system.

The port operations consolidated around Værlebukta in the 1990s, releasing substantial harbor areas for the development of urban spaces in Moss.

The port maintains Norway's most efficient container management system, processing 70,000 TEU containers annually on a compact 30-acre land area.

Visitors can access dedicated facilities including a guest harbor with ticket machines, water supply, electricity connections, and service rooms with showers.

From 2025, the port will implement complete electrification of container handling operations, eliminating emissions and reducing noise levels throughout the facility.
