Buenavista Protected Landscape, Nature reserve in Bondoc Peninsula, Philippines
Buenavista Protected Landscape is a nature reserve on the Bondoc Peninsula with secondary forest, grasslands, and coconut plantations in Quezon province. Multiple waterways including the Mulanay River and several creeks run through the terrain and eventually flow into the Sibuyan Sea.
The area was designated by President Manuel L. Quezon in 1937 for watershed protection and timber use. It received official protected status in 2000.
Archaeological investigations uncovered 15 limestone coffins from the 10th to 14th century, along with ancient canal drainage systems and artifacts at Mount Maclayao.
