Chinji National Park

Chinji National Park is a protected area in Chakwal District that showcases semi-arid landscapes with sandstone formations and scattered salt deposits. The terrain features rolling hills, rocky outcrops, and varied geological structures across its expanse.

The area was protected in 1987 and preserves traces of Hindu-Buddhist settlements that existed here in ancient times. The park also contains remnants from the British colonial period that reveal how outside influences shaped the region.
