Chinji National Park

The national park extends across 15,061 acres of desert and xeric shrublands, featuring sandstone formations, igneous rocks, and salt deposits at 690 meters elevation.

The protected area, established in 1987, contains archaeological evidence of Hindu-Buddhist settlements and viewpoints dating back to the British colonial period.

The park functions as an educational center where visitors learn about Pakistani wildlife conservation methods and natural resource management practices.

Facilities include a 100-foot observation tower, guest accommodations, parking areas, and small shops offering refreshments for visitors.

The park provides habitat for the urial, a threatened mountain sheep species, along with Bengal foxes, Indian wolves, and pangolins.
