Sieniawa

Sieniawa stands along the San River with numerous brick buildings spread across its central area, forming a characteristic southeastern Polish urban layout.

The settlement emerged in 1676 when Mikolaj Hieronim Sieniawski established it as an administrative center, constructing fortifications to protect against Crimean Tatar raids.

The town preserves traditional architectural elements from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth period, with defensive walls and religious structures marking its heritage.

The municipality offers basic administrative services to 2,127 residents and maintains connections to larger urban centers through regional transportation networks.

The town developed as a strategic river port along the San River, featuring a fortress system that incorporated both military defenses and commercial shipping facilities.
