Nowa Ruda

Nowa Ruda is an administrative center in Kłodzko County situated at 360 meters elevation between the Owl Mountains and the Bardzkie Mountains. The Włodzica River flows through the city, with residential neighborhoods, commercial streets, and public spaces forming a typical mid-sized town center.

Nowa Ruda was first recorded in 1337 when it developed as a craft center, particularly for weaving and cloth production. This craft heritage shaped the town's economy and appearance for centuries afterward.
