Gmina Ciasna

Gmina Ciasna is a rural municipality in southern Poland comprising nine villages set across forests and farmland. The territory is characterized by scattered settlements integrated into the natural landscape.

The area developed along a medieval trade route connecting Wroclaw and Krakow, established in the 13th century. This connection encouraged the formation of settlements across the region.

The Cultural Center in Ciasna hosts events featuring the local Brass Band and Majorettes Dance Group. These ensembles participate regularly in regional competitions and shape the community's cultural life.

Several branches of the municipal library are located in Ciasna, Glinica, Sierakow Slaski, and Zborowskie to serve visitors and residents. These facilities provide easy access to local resources and information.

In Sierakow Slaski stands a centuries-old oak tree protected as a natural monument, with a remarkably thick trunk. This ancient tree is one of the most striking examples of old growth forest remnants in the locality.
