Manggha, Japanese art and technology museum in Krakow, Poland.
The Manggha Museum displays traditional Japanese artworks, contemporary pieces, and technological artifacts across multiple exhibition spaces featuring Japanese-influenced architecture.
Feliks Jasieński donated over 6,500 Japanese artifacts to the National Museum in Krakow in 1920, forming the foundation of the current Manggha collection.
The museum maintains a comprehensive program of Japanese cultural education through exhibitions, workshops on tea ceremonies, ikebana arrangements, and language courses.
Located near the Vistula River, the museum offers guided tours, educational programs for children, and maintains a specialized library focused on Japanese art.
Film director Andrzej Wajda dedicated his Kyoto Prize money to construct this museum, which received support from the East Japan Railway Workers Union.
