Palace in Krowiarki

The Palace in Krowiarki is an estate with architectural layers from different periods standing side by side. The main building features red brick walls and towers surrounded by landscaped grounds, with some sections containing older wooden structures underneath.

The estate began as a wooden fortress in 1678 under the Beess family. It underwent major rebuilding in brick form in the early 1800s and saw additional expansions in following decades.

The residence served as a seat of local nobility who shaped the region's social and economic life. The way the building grew and changed over time reflects how each family adapted the space to match their own style and needs.

The palace sits in a rural area roughly 20 kilometers northwest of Raciborz. Currently the building remains closed to visitors as it undergoes necessary restoration work on its structure and systems.

A section on the northern side features an Art Nouveau addition built in 1898 that blends with the older construction. This expansion reveals how the owners adapted the building to include the newer design trends of their era.
