Białobrzegi is a municipality in Masovian Voivodeship where the Pilica River flows through the town located south of Warsaw. The area sits at about 114 meters elevation and serves as the administrative center of Białobrzegi County.
The town received city rights from King Sigismund I in 1541 and was established on the left bank of the Pilica River. This foundation marked the beginning of its development into the current municipality.
