Andrychów

Andrychów sits at the foot of Panska Gora mountain in the Little Beskids region, with the Wieprzowka river flowing through it. The town spreads across terrain with direct access to hiking trails in the surrounding mountains.

King Stanisław August Poniatowski granted the town its charter in 1767, elevating it from a small village to an established settlement. This official recognition helped it grow into a regional center.

The annual ODEON amateur theater festival draws performers from across the region and fills the town with productions. These events shape the cultural identity of the place and show how theater remains woven into local life.

The town offers leisure facilities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, and an ice rink for visitors and residents. In good weather, mountain hikes can start directly from here without long travel times.

The irregularly shaped town square is dominated by Bobrowskis Palace, a 19th-century architectural landmark. Around this central point cluster residential buildings from different eras, showing how the place evolved through the decades.
