Krasnobród is a resort town in the Wieprz Valley, nestled between Roztocze National Park and Krasnobród Landscape Park at approximately 500 meters elevation. The town functions as a rehabilitation center with year-round sanatoriums treating respiratory and musculoskeletal conditions.
History
The town received its charter in 1576 from King Sigismund III Vasa and subsequently became property of several noble families. The rule of the Lipski, Leszczynski, and Zamoyski dynasties left lasting marks on the town's development.

The Visitation Church and former Dominican monastery reflect the region's religious diversity, while two Jewish cemeteries mark the presence of different communities throughout its past. These sites shape the character of the town and reveal its multicultural heritage.
