Dylewska Góra, Mountain summit in Warmian-Masurian, Poland.
Kernsdorfer Höhe is a summit in the Warmian-Masurian region of northern Poland, reaching 312 meters above sea level. Its eastern and northern slopes are covered by beech forests, and a radio transmission tower stands at the top, open to visitors as a lookout point.
The summit was shaped by glacial movements during the last ice age, which left behind a moraine landscape across the region. That geological past explains the rolling terrain that still surrounds the hill today.
The summit serves as a hub for hiking trails that connect to the 67-kilometer Grunwald Route, linking Gothic churches and historical wooden buildings across the region. These paths are regularly used by hikers exploring the cultural heritage of the area.
The summit can be reached on foot from Wysoka Wies along paved paths, and parking is available close to the starting point. The routes are clearly marked and gentle enough for walkers with little hiking experience.
The tower at the top stands about 37 meters tall and offers views that can stretch across a large part of the northern Polish lowlands on a clear day. Few other points in this flat region allow you to see so far in every direction at once.
