Nowogród Bobrzański is a municipality in western Poland situated along the Bóbr River. The area features extensive forests that cover much of the landscape and define its natural character.
The settlement was founded in 1202 as an administrative center and later became a formal town when it gained official rights in 1314. This transition from a regional seat to an established community marked its growing importance.
