Sokołów Podlaski

Sokołów Podlaski sits on the Cetynia River and serves as the administrative center of Sokołów County in Masovian Voivodeship. The town features mixed architecture with older residential and commercial buildings clustered in the center, surrounded by newer residential areas and green spaces.

The settlement received its town charter in 1424 from the Grand Duke of Lithuania Witold, establishing its official municipal status. During the 20th century, it developed into an industrial and administrative center serving the surrounding rural region.
