Ciechocinek

Ciechocinek is an urban municipality in Aleksandrów County within the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland. This administrative territory lies in the north-central part of the country and comprises several settlements within its boundaries.

The current municipal structure developed after the Second World War as part of the reorganization of Polish administrative borders. These changes replaced the territorial divisions imposed during the German occupation between 1939 and 1945.

The district experienced significant demographic changes as approximately 12,000 Polish residents were displaced during the German occupation between 1939 and 1945.

The administrative center is located in the town of Aleksandrów Kujawski and serves as the main point of contact for municipal matters. Visitors can reach the different settlements within the municipality through a network of local road connections.

The territory contained seventeen distinct administrative districts that were later reorganized through mergers implemented in late 1942.
