Gmina Kcynia

Gmina Kcynia is an administrative division in north-central Poland that combines urban and rural areas within Nakło County. The territory is organized around its main town and includes several surrounding villages and smaller settlements.

Gmina Kcynia was established during the Polish administrative reforms of 1999 that restructured the local government system. This reorganization created the administrative structure that exists today in Nakło County.

The district incorporates numerous villages and settlements, each maintaining local traditions while contributing to the administrative functions of Nakło County.

The district office is based in the town of Kcynia, located roughly 18 kilometers southwest of Nakło nad Notecią. The area is easily accessible from the nearby city of Bydgoszcz in about an hour's travel.

The population distribution shows 4,679 residents in urban Kcynia and 9,051 in rural areas, creating a balanced administrative territory.
