Ląd is a village in Greater Poland and lies along the Voivodeship road 467 in west-central Poland. The settlement sits roughly 12 kilometers south of Słupca and over 70 kilometers east of Poznań.
A Cistercian monastery near Ląd was founded around 1150 and influenced the region for centuries. After various transformations under Prussian rule from 1793 onwards, the Salesians took over its management from 1921.
