Chiesa di Nostra Signora del Perpetuo Soccorso

Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a rectangular building with brick walls and a pitched roof in Strzyżowice. The structure is modest in size but serves communities across several surrounding towns.

Construction began in 1961 under the leadership of Father Władysław Rybiński, following initial services held in a private residence. The building quickly became the religious center for the growing population of the area.

The interior decorations were created by artist Tadeusz Opara, who also restored the altar dedicated to Saint Barbara from Grodziec mine. These artistic works give the church space its distinctive character.

The building is easily accessible and centrally located within the village with good road connections from surrounding communities. The church attracts visitors from several nearby towns throughout the region.

In 2001 the building received special recognition when Bishop Jerzy Szotmiller elevated it to the status of pro-cathedral of the Krakow-Czestochowa diocese. This elevation reflected the church's growing importance to the wider region.
