Sypniewo, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Rural settlement in Gmina Więcbork, Poland.
Sypniewo is a village in Gmina Więcbork, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of northern Poland, surrounded by agricultural land. It sits west of Więcbork and southwest of Sępólno Krajeńskie, in a rural setting of open fields and scattered farmsteads.
The village grew from the farming traditions of the Krajna region and retains a manor house built in the mid-19th century. This building has passed through several owners and uses over the decades and still stands in the village today.
The Saint Catherine church is the most visible building in the village and draws residents together for services and local celebrations. It gives the daily life of the community a shared focal point.
The village has a train stop with connections to neighboring towns, so it can be reached without a car. The main road passes through the settlement, making it easy to stop by on a drive between Więcbork and Sępólno Krajeńskie.
The old manor house was converted into a hotel, which is relatively uncommon for a small village in rural Poland. Visitors passing by can still make out the original shape of the 19th-century estate beneath its later adaptations.
