Nieciecza, Small village in Tarnów County, Poland
Nieciecza is a village in Tarnów County, Lesser Poland, on the right bank of the Dunajec. Houses spread along a few roads that run through fields and low hills with views of the river.
Documents from the 15th century name a castellan as owner of the place, which belonged to noble estates at the time. The volunteer fire brigade was set up at the beginning of the 20th century and still serves the community.
The place keeps a long tradition of musical performance that developed in the years following the First World War. Choir singers performed at events around the region, contributing to the local identity.
The parish church stands in the center and can be reached via the main road. Visitors will find few facilities in the place, so a short drive-through or walk without special expectations works best.
The local football club rose to the top Polish league in 2015, even though the village has only around 750 inhabitants. This promotion made the club the smallest community in the country's professional football.
