Radecznica, Religious pilgrimage site in eastern Poland
The village contains a Franciscan monastery complex with a church situated among the hills of Lublin Voivodeship, near Zamość County.
In 1664, reported appearances of Saint Anthony of Padua at this location led to the construction of a church and establishment of a monastery.
The religious complex serves as a spiritual center where pilgrims gather throughout the year to honor Saint Anthony of Padua.
Visitors can reach Radecznica by traveling 31 kilometers west of Zamość or 59 kilometers south from the city of Lublin.
Pope Francis designated the local church as a minor basilica in 2015, elevating its status among religious sites in Poland.
