Ręszów, Village in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.
Ręszów is a village in Lower Silesian Voivodeship situated on rolling terrain west of Ścinawa. The former von Nostitz manor house, modernized in the early twentieth century, now serves as residential housing for the community.
The village first appeared in written records in 1209 under the German name Ransen and remained under the von Nostitz family's control for centuries. Major changes came in the early twentieth century when the estate underwent significant modernization.
The central square holds a restored monument honoring local residents lost during World War I. This memorial reflects how the village keeps its past present in daily community life.
The village sits on rolling terrain that is best explored on foot, with paths winding through the landscape. The main attraction, the former manor house, is visible from the village center and easy to locate.
Between 1975 and 1998, the village belonged administratively to Legnica Voivodeship rather than its current region. This boundary shift changed where the community reported to in government, even though local life continued much the same.
