Sulejów Landscape Park

Sulejów Landscape Park is a protected area in Tomaszów Mazowiecki County that preserves multiple natural environments. Forests, meadows, peat bogs, and wetlands make up the landscape, organized around the Pilica River which shapes the entire ecosystem.

The territory contains remains of the Osiecka Forest, documented in maps from the late 1700s, and holds traces of Slavic settlements. The park protects both natural and cultural layers of the region's past.

The educational center Torfy Base runs programs about wildlife protection and environmental topics, connecting visitors with how locals work to conserve nature. These activities show how communities engage with the land and its ecological needs.

The reserve has marked trails throughout its area where visitors can explore different habitats while protecting sensitive zones. The paths are arranged so you can see the variety of nature without disturbing it.

The Niebieskie Źródła area features karst springs with special optical qualities, where water appears blue. This coloring happens because of how light waves are absorbed in a particular way.
