Sejm Library, Parliamentary and scientific library in Warsaw, Poland
The Sejm Library maintains collections of legislative documents, legal texts, and research materials supporting the work of Polish Parliament members and researchers.
Established in 1919 after Poland regained independence, the library suffered severe damage during World War II when German forces relocated 62,000 volumes to Berlin.
The library collection includes extensive documentation of Polish legislative processes, governmental archives, and materials about the development of national democratic institutions.
Located at coordinates 52.2246°N and 21.0277°E, the Sejm Library provides research spaces and digital resources for studying Polish parliamentary proceedings.
The facility incorporates the former Archives of the Polish Left, adding 145,000 volumes to its collection in 1991.
