Founded in 1910, the cemetery received monument status in 1994, reflecting the growth of the Lutheran community in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region.
The cemetery serves as a resting place for notable residents, including Olympic medalist Teresa Ciepły and writer Tadeusz Nowakowski.
Located at 6 Zaświat Street, this cemetery remains active and maintains regular operating hours for visitors and new burials.
In 2018, the cemetery received remains of 80 individuals discovered during renovation works in other parts of Bydgoszcz.
