St. James Church, Powroźnik

The wooden church in Powroźnik is a three-part wooden structure with a sanctuary, nave, and women's gallery built in traditional Lemko style. The building displays the characteristic craftsmanship of the region with its distinctive wooden construction and roof forms.

The original structure dates from 1600 and was relocated and rebuilt in 1813 due to flooding threats. Parts of the original building were incorporated into the present-day sacristy, showing the place's continuous history.
