Saint Michael Archangel church in Sokołowsko

This brick Eastern Orthodox church stands prominently in the Sudety mountains, featuring traditional architectural elements and religious symbolism throughout its structure.

The Brotherhood of St. Vladimir constructed the church between 1899 and 1901, initially serving as a religious center for patients of local health facilities.

The interior houses contemporary icons, polychromes, and an icon writing studio that maintains the traditions of Orthodox religious art.

Located at Parkowa street in Sokołowsko, the church operates under the Diocese of Wrocław and Szczecin with current access subject to religious service schedules.

After World War II, this religious building temporarily functioned as a morgue and later as a summer house before its restoration in 1996.
