Saint Onuphrius church, Posada Rybotycka

Saint Onuphrius church is an Eastern Orthodox house of worship in Posada Rybotycka featuring defensive architecture with windows designed like gun ports. The building sits on elevated ground and is surrounded by a stone wall that protects the structure.

The building was constructed between the 14th and 15th centuries and remains the oldest surviving Eastern Orthodox church in Poland. Inscriptions from the 16th century carved into the walls document changes and the community's continued use of the site.

The church contains original medieval wall paintings and a brick iconostasis separating the altar space from the nave. These elements show how believers organized worship and decorated this space over time.
