Nature reserve Buczyna, Forest nature reserve in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.
The reserve spans 15.75 hectares of protected land, featuring old-growth beech forests and wet depressions partially covered with alder trees.
Established in 1958 following protection proposals from 1930, the reserve protects beech forests at the eastern boundary of their natural distribution range.
The reserve functions as an educational center where visitors learn about forest ecosystems through guided programs and environmental monitoring activities.
Visitors can access marked trails throughout the reserve, which requires adherence to conservation regulations to maintain the delicate ecosystem balance.
The forest contains specimens of beech trees exceeding 160 years in age, making it the oldest beech forest stand in Greater Poland.
