Liwia Łuża Lake, Nature reserve near Baltic Sea in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.

Liwia Łuża Lake is a shallow lagoon situated along Poland's Baltic coast in the West Pomeranian region. The water body spans roughly 210 hectares and features extensive reed islands that cover about one-fifth of its total surface.

The lagoon formed as an ancient marine bay that was gradually separated from the Baltic Sea through natural coastal processes over time. It received official protection status as a nature reserve in 1959.

The reserve forms part of the Natura 2000 European Ecological Network, representing significant natural heritage of the West Pomeranian region.

The area can be explored via a roughly 9-kilometer green walking trail that starts from the village of Niechorze and circles the entire water body. The path is accessible by public transport and passes through terrain marked by historical settlement remnants.

The lagoon maintains a direct connection to the Baltic Sea through a roughly 1.2-kilometer channel. This link allows freshwater and saltwater plant species to coexist within the same ecosystem.
