Nature reserve Las Warmiński

Las Warmiński is a nature reserve in the Warmian-Masurian region covering around 1800 hectares with different types of forest. The area contains two lakes and a stretch of river surrounded by these woodlands, creating a connected landscape for wildlife.

The area was settled by local tribes in medieval times, and later development brought a glass factory to the region in the 1800s. These earlier activities shaped how the landscape developed before the area became protected.
