Stadion przy ulicy Ejsmonda w Gdyni

The stadium on Ejsmonda Street in Gdynia was originally built as a football facility with spectator seating. Today it houses tennis courts, a practice field, and other sports facilities on the same grounds.

The facility was founded in 1932 and attracted delegations from several European countries at its opening. In 2000, it ended its time as a football stadium and was fully converted to a tennis center.

The site has become a center for tennis, where players train and matches happen regularly throughout the year. This transformation reflects how local sports interests have shifted over time.

The grounds are located on Ejsmonda Street and well organized with separate areas for different sports. Visiting is easiest during daytime hours when most facilities are in operation.

The last football match here took place in June 2000, ending nearly 70 years of football history at this location. This shift shows how a historic space can completely reinvent its function.
