Skansen „Zagroda Sitarska”, Folk museum in Biłgoraj, Poland
The Skansen Zagroda Sitarska consists of multiple wooden structures including a residential house, a granary, a carriage house, and several farm buildings.
The museum preserves a traditional sieve maker's homestead from 1810, representing local architecture and craftsmanship that flourished in Biłgoraj from the 16th century.
Inside the main house, visitors can examine traditional sieve-making workshops, tools, and exhibits showcasing the manufacturing process of horse-hair sieves.
The museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 15:30, with regular tickets priced at 10 PLN and reduced admission available at 8 PLN.
The complex features twelve-part windows characteristic of Biłgoraj architecture and displays reconstructed horse-powered machinery in its courtyard.
