Teatr Sabat, Revue theatre in central Warsaw, Poland
Teatr Sabat is a revue theatre in central Warsaw featuring tables and chairs instead of traditional row seating. The hall on Foksal Street creates a hybrid space where dining and performance happen together with performers and audience in close proximity.
Founded in 2001 by Małgorzata Potocka, the venue was inspired by pre-war entertainment spaces, Broadway, and Parisian music halls. This combination of influences shaped how the space operates and what it offers visitors today.
The name comes from a Polish folk tradition and the venue blends entertainment with contemporary stagecraft. Visitors experience local theatrical customs mixed with international influences that directly involve the audience in the performance.
Evening performances usually begin around 7:30 PM with welcome drinks before the show starts. Dinner and desserts are served during the event, so plan to spend several hours and come prepared for a full evening of entertainment and dining.
After performances, guests can dance on the stage while singers perform Polish and international songs. This finale transforms the stage into a dance floor and lets the audience become part of the entertainment.
