Teodor Milsch's villa

Teodor Milsch's villa is a brick structure at the intersection of Kopernika and Łąkowa streets, featuring decorative cornices and carved wooden verandas across its facade. The building retains its original architectural details and currently serves as both a protected monument and a functioning restaurant.

The structure was built between 1870 and 1882 for industrialist Teodor Milsch, who founded one of the city's earliest industrial breweries. It received protection as a historical monument in 1982.

The villa houses a restaurant serving Polish and Jewish cuisine while regularly hosting literary gatherings, music performances, and dance events. These activities transform the space into a social hub where locals and visitors come together throughout the year.

The villa sits in Old Polesie at 21 Łąkowa Street and is easily accessible on foot. Original features remain intact, allowing visitors either to dine at the restaurant or simply view the exterior.

A maple tree in the property's garden received protected natural monument status in December 2021. This botanical element adds an environmental dimension to the historical site.
