Wieża widokowa na Wieżycy

The Wieża widokowa na Wieżycy is a stone tower built on Wieżyca hill at 395 meters above sea level in the Lower Silesian region. From its summit, the structure provides views across the surrounding countryside and nearby valleys.

The tower was constructed between 1845 and 1852 as a monument to the Battle of Dobromierz in 1745, where Frederick II of Prussia defeated Austrian-Saxon forces. Its creation reflects the historical importance of this military conflict to the region.

The tower became a recreation destination in the late 19th century when a ballroom, restaurant, and recreational terraces were added. People in the area valued it as a popular spot for outings and social gatherings.

Access to the tower requires prior arrangement with the current owner Edward Hałdaś or visiting during designated opening hours. It is helpful to check the specific access conditions before planning your visit.
