The stone tower stands at 395 meters above sea level on Wieżyca hill, offering views of the surrounding Lower Silesian region.
Built between 1845 and 1852, the tower commemorates the Battle of Dobromierz where Frederick II of Prussia defeated Austrian-Saxon forces in 1745.
The tower became a recreational center in the late 19th century with the addition of a ballroom, restaurant, and recreational terraces for visitors.
Edward Hałdaś, the current owner, allows visitors to enter the tower upon arrangement or during specific opening times.
From the tower's summit, visitors can see the Dobromierz Abbey, local landscapes, and in clear weather conditions, the city of Wrocław.
