Ścieszków Groń

Ścieszków Groń is a 775-meter mountain peak in Silesian Voivodeship that rises above the surrounding landscape of the lower Beskidy ranges. From the top, visitors can see four distinct mountain chains stretching across the horizon in different directions.

The mountain area contains traces of farming and forestry practices that sustained local communities through many generations in southern Poland. Over time, these activities shaped how the land looks and continues to influence the region today.

The mountain region reflects both Polish and Czech influences, which are visible in the way nearby villages are built and how people have lived here for generations. This cultural blend comes from its position close to the border between the two countries.

The summit can be reached through marked trails starting from the OSP Łysina parking area, following Szczytowa Street as your main route. The paths are well-marked and suitable for most visitors, with the observation tower at the top offering rest and views.

A wooden observation tower stands at the peak, providing a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountain ranges and making the vistas even more rewarding. This structure is a landmark that many hikers appreciate for offering both shelter and a better vantage point.
