The four-story building features a three-axis facade with a Renaissance portal decorated by a sailing ship bas-relief above the entrance.
Built in 1642 by goldsmith Stanisław Zalewski, the structure underwent renovations in the 18th century under merchant Łukasz Łyszkiewicz's ownership.
The building's entrance portal displays a sculpture of a sailing vessel, symbolizing trade connections and maritime commerce in Warsaw's history.
Located in Warsaw's Old Town, the building stands as a registered cultural heritage site since July 1, 1965, under number 565.
The basement and ground floor facade remained standing after World War II, allowing architect Stefan Krasiński to reconstruct the building from 1949 to 1955.
