The church is easy to locate in the center of Tarnogród with parking available nearby. Its modest size and straightforward layout make it simple to explore both the exterior and interior spaces.
The main altar dates to around 1650 and was moved into this church at a later time, continuing to display the scene of the Transfiguration. Its earlier origin and relocation illustrate how important religious artworks were carefully preserved and repositioned within the community.
