Kościół Wszystkich Świętych w Poznaniu, Catholic church in central Poznań, Poland
This church is a rectangular building with an elliptical pseudodome supported by eight pillars. Two-tiered galleries fill the space between the supporting structures.
Construction took place between 1777 and 1786 following Antoni Höhne's design. Originally built as an evangelical Holy Cross temple, the building changed its purpose after 1945.
The interior displays a large Last Supper painting created in 1786 and evangelist figures positioned on either side of the altar. These artworks represent the neoclassical style that defines the space.
Access is through the west portal beneath the tower, where statues of Peter and Paul can be seen. The building is accessible to visitors during services and throughout the week.
The western facade features a tower structure that visually balances the weight of the neoclassical decoration. This architectural solution was uncommon for religious buildings of that era.
