A wooden church originally stood on this site starting in 1419, followed by a brick replacement in 1785. The present building was constructed between 1905 and 1914, representing a later renewal of the religious structure.
The church is named after Saint Adalbert, reflecting the community's connection to this saint. Inside, visitors encounter double-barrel vaults and a pipe organ on the choir gallery that give the space its character.
