Our Lady of Victories church in Lublin, Catholic church in Lublin, Poland
The Our Lady of Victories Church features Renaissance architecture with vaulted ceilings, intricate gables, and Neo-Gothic interior decorations established in 1901.
King Władysław Jagiełło established the church in the early fifteenth century to commemorate the victory against the Teutonic Knights at the Battle of Grunwald.
The temple preserves a fifteenth-century painting of Saint Bridget, recognized as the oldest painting in Lublin, along with seventeenth-century artworks in the stalls.
The church building, located on Narutowicza Street at coordinates 51.2464°N and 22.5619°E, maintains regular religious services for the Roman Catholic community.
Original polychromes discovered in the church attic depict historical scenes of the king's retinue entering the city of Lublin.
