Holy Trinity church in Kobyłka, Baroque church in Kobyłka, Poland.
Holy Trinity Church stands in Kobyłka with a rectangular floor plan built from brick and plaster, featuring two square towers on its north facade. The building shows the typical layout of a Baroque church of its period.
Construction took place between 1740 and 1745 under Bishop Marcin Załuski during a period of regional church building. The structure later suffered damage during the Kościuszko Uprising and the Napoleonic Wars.
The interior paintings show religious scenes created in the 1740s and reflect the artistic tastes of the late Baroque period. These works help define how the church space feels when you walk through it today.
The church holds regular services and welcomes visitors throughout the year. Below ground, you will find a chapel and parish museum that opened to the public in 2008 with displays about the site.
The design incorporates spatial and optical tricks drawn from Italian and Central European building traditions by architect Guido Antonio Longhi. These techniques create unexpected impressions as you move through the interior.
