Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Lachowice

The Church of Saints Peter and Paul features a log structure on stone foundations, crowned by a hexagonal bell tower with an onion dome.

Teresa from Sułkowski Wielopolska commissioned the construction of this church between 1789 and 1792, replacing a cemetery chapel from 1707.

The interior displays late Baroque furnishings, including four side altars, a pulpit with canopy, and walls decorated with figures of twelve apostles from 1891.

The church maintains an active cemetery surrounded by ancient trees, with multiple access points through gates constructed of wooden columns.

The barrel vaults of both nave and presbytery showcase painted star patterns, while the music choir features a bulging parapet supported by profiled pillars.
