Olimp building in Gdańsk Wrzeszcz

The Olimp building stands 55 meters tall with 17 stories, featuring modern architecture in the center of Gdańsk's Wrzeszcz district.

Completed in 1969, the Olimp building became the second tallest structure in Gdańsk and maintained its position as the tallest in Wrzeszcz until 2011.

During communist times, residents nicknamed the building 'Dolarowiec' as apartments could only be purchased using foreign currency, primarily by sailors and their families.

The building contains studio apartments with mezzanine beds, kitchenettes, and modern amenities, offering rental periods between 14 and 240 days.

The structure received its name from a café located on its top floor, which now operates as a restaurant providing views across the district.
