The Diocesan Museum in Siedlce houses an extensive collection of ecclesiastical artifacts, sacred art, paintings, and liturgical objects from the regional diocese.
Established in 1918 after Poland regained independence, the museum began under the guidance of Father Karol Dębiński from the Theological Academy in Saint Petersburg.
The museum collection includes religious vestments, historical documents, and notable artworks representing the religious traditions of the Podlasie region through centuries.
Visitors can explore the museum Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 15:00, Saturdays from 10:00 to 17:00, and Sundays from 12:00 to 16:00.
The museum preserves El Greco's painting 'Ecstasy of Saint Francis', making it the only institution in Poland with a permanent exhibition of this artist's work.
