Botanical garden in Brynek, Botanical garden at the Palace Park in Brynek, Poland.
The Botanical Garden in Brynek is a large park with different plant zones spread across forty hectares, connected by multiple ponds and walking paths. It displays alpine plants alongside rhododendrons, azaleas, and magnolias, as well as a varied collection of native and foreign trees.
The site was founded in 1946 and served from the start as an educational facility for a nearby forestry school. Teacher Henryk Eder and his students shaped its development during these early years.
The garden serves as a learning space where visitors encounter different plant species in settings that show how they grow together. The arranged sections demonstrate relationships between various plants and their preferred conditions.
The grounds are easy to walk through, with paths laid throughout and different areas clearly separated from one another. Comfortable footwear is recommended since distances between sections can be substantial.
The park contains specialized areas for water plants and bog vegetation along streams and ponds, each forming its own ecosystem. There are also zones dedicated to climbing plants and a separate rose garden that show how different plant types are cultivated.
